Our Mission is to encourage women of all ages and shapes to get inspired to move their bodies to music by providing exceptional classes and fantastic instructors.

Teaching Bellydance in Edmonton since 2005, Aurora and her fantastic team of teachers brings the fun, beauty, inspiration, and sensuality that is bellydance to their classes.  Since the studio's inception, other instructors of different genres of movement and dance, such as Tango, Bollywood, and fitness, haved joined the studio as well.

Aurora is an accomplished and graceful dancer. Belly Dancing since 1999, Aurora has studied extensively with Arabesque's founder and artistic director Yasmina Ramzy. Aurora completed the Arabesque Dance Company Professional Course in Toronto in 2006, and was winner of the "So You Think You Can Bellydance?" competition in Las Vegas in 2010. Her dancing has taken her across Canada, into the USA and Morocco. Teaching Bellydance in Edmonton since 2005, Aurora has a fantastic reputation of being an exceptional and knowledgeable teacher. A licenced chiropractor, Aurora's training in anatomy also increases her understanding of dance.



Natasha has been dedicated to the art of dance for nearly two decades. Her training is primarily in classical ballet and began in 1987. She was privileged to be accepted into the professional program at the Edmonton School of Ballet and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. From 1995-1996 Natasha danced with the Edmonton Festival Ballet Company. In the later years, she incorporated jazz, lyrical, modern and tap.

Habib is an Egyptian Bellydance performer and instructor. Her first Bellydance class was in 2001 and she began teaching in 2010. As a performer, Marie brings joy and emotion to the stage; her unique style will leave you smiling and feeling connected and engaged.

Shrina, Bollywood instructor, Move Studios, Edmonton


Dancing sets Shrina free. Enrolled in her first dance competition at the age of 7, the stage opened her mind and startd her soul sang singing. Shrina brings to you a unique twist to dance and teaching, which is sure to dazzle the spectator and challenge even the most dedicated students. From traditional East Indian Garba & Raas dance and the intoxicating drum beats of Bhangra, to elements of Latin Zumba and pop'n'lock, wacking and freestyle Hip Hop dance, classes challenge and free the dancer.

Kelly first began her love affair with Middle Eastern dance in 2002. Since then she has studied extensively with Hala of Raqs al Almeh Academy of Middle Eastern Dance and Aurora of Move Studios, as well as internationally renowned artists and local instructors. A principal dancer with the Edmonton Bellydance Ensemble since 2008, Kelly has expanded her knowledge of Middle Eastern dance as a previous member of the Tribal troupes Zaghareet! and Akhawat-al-Raks. Kelly received her Zumba Instructor certification in June of 2012 and looks forward to sharing her technique and knowledge with the students of Move Studios

Cristina & Vicente

Cristina & Vicente are award winning Argentino Instructors. Married in life and married to dance, their understanding and joy for dancing is obvious.



Holly took her first bellydance class in 2002. She has since studied under many local instructors, and has travelled throughout Canada to learn from many internationally renowned artists. She graduated from the Intensive Professional Middle Eastern Dance Course at Arabesque Dance Academy in Toronto in 2010. Holly received her Personal Fitness Training Certification from NAIT in 2000, and is also Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification Association (AFLCA) certified. She currently teaches bellydance and fitness classes throughout Edmonton and area.

Shauna, Bellydance


Shauna has had a passion for dance all her life. She has dabbled in many forms from hip hop to ballroom but was primarily trained in ballet, jazz and modern for 10 years at Alberta Ballet School (later Dance Alberta). In 2008, after becoming a mom, she took her first belly dance class to get out for a fun activity and her love affair with Middle Eastern belly dance began. She has studied extensively with Aurora at Move Studios and other local instructors such as Aldiya and Anya and has had the privilege of attending workshops with internationally renowned stars such as Nath Keo, Sadie Marquardt, Hadia and Aziza. Shauna is excited to now share her love of this art form with students of her own.
